Lee has been practising and studying martial arts for over 30 years .
Lee started training in 1977 and has trained with some of the top Wado instructors including Sensei(s) Sakagami, Shiomitsu and Suzuki, among many others.
He has been National kata champion five times and was asked to coach on the national squad after retiring from active competition. Since then he has held positions of Senior Kata coach, Senior Kumite coach and head coach for the Wado-Kai England national team and in total coached on the squad for ten years before moving on from that position to follow his professional career.
During that time he has coached people to compete and win at National, International and World tournament levels.
As a world-class karate-ka, registered with the Japan Wado-Kai, Lee has been featured in Traditional Karate magazine.
